✂I just thought of what other materials we can use to practice cutting, and... I saw old receipts lying around! You can use newspapers or other textured materials too. Draw lines, curves or zigzags for your child to follow with the scissors.
✂ Encourage your child to stick and make their own collage, patterns, maybe form a shape with the collage.
In this activity, your child will develop:
-fine motor skills through cutting and pasting
-visual motor skills (eye-hand coordination)
-visual perception (colours, patterns, lines)
-literacy (printed letters and words)
-attention and focus
✂ Make sure to provide age appropriate materials and supervise your child during this activity.
Just saw the magazine page. 🙈
Paalam!
