Hi everyone! I’m Nila Joanna Berbie. You can call me Joanna (UAE) or Janna (Philippines), depending on which part of the world you are. But my favourite one is being called – Miss Joanna.

I am a qualified CACHE Level 3 Early Years Educator, currently in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I have been working in this multicultural environment since 2010. Being Asian and expecting to hold a teaching position in the UAE is really tough so I consider myself lucky but worthy of being called one. This blog is a collection of activities and adventures of being a Filipina teacher in Dubai, for now.

I always get stuck when doing my school planning. But with the advancement of technology, Google and power of our finger tips – search and thou shall see, thousands of activities! Through this website, I wish I could be of help to other teachers, parents and those interested with early childhood education.

Some of the activities posted here are the ones I did with the children inspired by thousands of websites, blogs, videos, posts, etc.
